Peel back the liner and start the strip at either the min graduation (0) or the max (150/120). The led strips are cut to be the exact length needed to go from min to max.
Apply the strip at the farthest out point of the can that is flat. This puts the strip where it will be covered with the reflector ring while getting maximum adhesion to a flat surface.
